James Winfield III founded J3 Systems Group after a career shaped by military service, technology operations, systems support, security work, cloud administration, and documentation.

Before starting J3 Systems Group, James served eight years in the United States Air Force. That experience built a foundation in discipline, accountability, documentation, communication, and mission-focused work that continues to influence how he approaches technology today.

After his military service, James built a professional career in information technology, systems support, cybersecurity operations, cloud administration, and business technology documentation. His work has included supporting users, managing systems, improving access controls, reviewing security settings, documenting processes, and helping organizations make technology easier to understand and maintain.
